Logistics center - efficient, digital, sustainable
With the new logistics center in Osterburken, REISSER is setting standards for state-of-the-art warehouse technology, automated processes and a future-proof infrastructure. An ultra-modern logistics hall with around 20,000 m² of space has been built on an area of four hectares, complemented by an energy-efficient administration building to KfW 40 standard.
Focus on sustainability
The logistics center also sets new standards in terms of sustainability. A powerful photovoltaic system with 996 kWp, energy-efficient concrete core temperature control using a heat pump and five E-charging stations with a total of ten charging points contribute to resource-conserving and climate-friendly operation.
The energy-optimized building envelope and preparations for the expansion of further charging points underline the long-term sustainability approach.
The project is currently in the process of being certified by the DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) - the aim is to achieve a silver certificate. The DGNB evaluates construction projects holistically according to ecological, economic, technical and socio-cultural criteria.

RIO - Regional Industrial Park Osterburken
The location in the Regional Industrial Park Osterburken (RIO) was chosen deliberately: Thanks to the excellent transport connections by road and rail as well as the proximity to the company headquarters in Ingelfingen-Criesbach, it offers ideal conditions for a centralized logistics platform. For REISSER, this project not only means the expansion of state-of-the-art infrastructure, but also new space at the previous location: the space freed up there can be used to expand production in the future - a clear signal for growth, efficiency and innovative strength.
