GS Terrassen Montagesystem GmbH & co. KG has been successfully producing & distributing aluminium decking systems for every type, shape, foundation requirement and decking for individual decking systems for over 6 years. Every year, around 1,600 tonnes of aluminium are pressed into 180 different profile cross-sections. The complete systems & products are distributed throughout Europe.

GS Terrassen Montagesysteme currently uses six different screws from REISSER for visible and invisible connections. These include self-tapping screws and wing-type drilling screws for aluminium, wood and WPC.
One of the latest projects is a self-tapping screw Ø 4.2 x 39 mm in stainless steel A4 for invisible screw fastening. The requirements were that the screw should be suitable for all GS Terrassen Montagetechnik profiles / profile thicknesses in use. In addition, the screw should also be used in woods containing tannic acid. Tannic acid, also known as tannin, is a natural component of wood. It occurs naturally in the bark and wood of some trees. Oak wood in particular has a high tannic acid content, but walnut and ash wood also contain tannins. The choice quickly fell on stainless steel A4. A4 is an important material to use if the screws are to be used in coastal areas, in salty air and salt water and where there are chemical influences such as chlorine gas. Mr Hartlieb confirmed this to us once again.
