Suitable for any plastic: REISSER REKU. For direct screwing into plastic
With the REKU, REISSER Schraubentechnik GmbH offers an innovative solution for reliable direct fastening in plastics. The thread-forming screw has been specially developed for thermoplastic materials and features an asymmetrical thread, optimised flank angles and an integrated guide thread.
A key advantage of the REKU is the direct screw connection without prior tapping. The screw forms its own thread in the core hole or dome, which reduces assembly times and cuts costs. At the same time, the special geometry ensures a low screw-in torque combined with high pull-out and over-tightening torques - a decisive factor for safe and efficient processing.
The REKU guarantees high process reliability and stability during the screwdriving process. Optimised material flow increases the service life of the connection, while the high vibration resistance and self-locking properties enable permanently reliable fastening. Multiple reassemblies are also possible without significant preload losses.
Suitable for any plastic
In addition to thermoplastics, the REKU is also suitable for harder and more brittle materials such as thermoset or glass fibre reinforced plastics (GRP) thanks to individually adaptable special threads. In addition, solutions for material combinations can be realised, which reduces the variety of parts and at the same time ensures optimum connection properties. Compatibility with common thread types is also guaranteed.
With its flexibility, cost-effectiveness and performance, the REKU is the ideal solution for a wide range of applications - from the electrical industry to the food industry.
