all in one saves time and money
Many individual parts = time-consuming, two-person assembly
The conventional method of fastening allows for up to three individual parts, consisting of a plumbing screw, plastic spacer and saddle washer, which must be put together before fastening. An additional person is also required to position the spacers on the underside of the fastening surface.
The REISSER distance set is suitable for all common light panel profiles (trapezoidal and corrugated profiles) as well as all light panel types (PVC/PC). Correctly selecting the right REISSER distance set for the job depends on whether the planned substructure is made of wood or metal. Please also note the information on the light panel height and light panel thickness in order to derive the appropriate clamping area for the correct fastening set.
the right choice
What to look out for?
After subtracting the material thickness from the total height of the light panel profile, the actual dimension of the cavity is obtained. This corresponds to the clamping area and also to the sleeve size L2 of the distance set. This dimension is crucial so that the expansion sleeve can spread completely under the profile during the assembly process and thus stabilise the profile.
Calculation example
For a practical example of selecting a REISSER distance set, we have used a common light panel profile for fastening.
Assembly guidelines
The contact surface of the substructure that the light panel is fixed to must be highly reflective to avoid possible heat buildup under the panels and thus protect the light panels from severe discolouration, permanent deformation or even cracking. Always observe the assembly instructions of the profile manufacturer.
