Electropolishing (G/T)
Electropolishing is an electrochemical process for finishing stainless steel surfaces. The controlled removal of material smoothes microscopic roughness and at the same time improves the technical and decorative properties of the material. The process produces a particularly smooth, shiny and burr-free surface - efficiently in just one operation.
In addition to the visual enhancement, electropolishing improves corrosion resistance, reduces roughness and thus facilitates cleaning and reduces build-up on the surface.

Pickling and passivation (G/T)
Pickling removes a thin layer of metal near the surface of stainless steel components. Acid mixtures are usually used forstainless steels to remove impurities and oxide layers.
The process serves several purposes: among other things, it removes annealing colours, which can occur particularly in welded constructions and impair the chromium content in the near-surface layer. It also removes the slight scaling that can
occur after heat treatment.
While stainless steels passivate themselves under normal conditions, in certain cases this process can be supported and accelerated by targeted treatment with oxidising acids.
Passivation focuses on the targeted build-up and stabilisation of the protective passive layer, which optimises corrosion resistance.
Pickling and passivation are two separate process steps that are carried out one after the other in separate acid treatments. The nitric acid used in the standard process has only a minor pickling effect and is primarily used for training and stabilising the passive layer.
Varnishing
During (head-) varnishing, screws and rivets are finished with high-quality coating systems. In addition to the individual colour design, varnishing provides improved corrosion protection and also increases resistance to external influences and mechanical stress.

Electroless nickel plating (G/T)
Chemical nickel plating is used to protect against wear and corrosion. Through suitable heat treatment, the layer can achieve a high hardness from a thickness of more than 3 μm, which optimises the beneficial properties of the electroless nickel layer.
We offer the process both as a rack process and for special requirements on request - suitable for small parts as well as bulk goods.

Zinc plating G/T
Electroplating provides iron and steel components with reliable and sustainable protection against corrosion. Corrosion resistance can be significantly increased by subsequent passivation.
Depending on the requirements, various processes are available, including Cr(VI)-free solutions such as blue passivation and thick-film passivation - optionally with or without nanoparticles. Thanks to special pre-treatment techniques, it is also possible to galvanise stainless steel, which makes the process particularly economical.
Depending on the component geometry, processing is carried out as barrel goods for small parts and bulk goods or as rack goods for larger or sensitive components.
RUSPERT®
The RUSPERT® coating offers reliable and long-lasting corrosion protection. Coated components are particularly suitable for use in marine, industry and tropical climates.
The central component of the system is the RUSPERT® flake. This paint-like corrosion protection system is applied by dipping and then baked at around 200 °C.
The coating is mainly used for bulk parts made of steel, brass, copper, die-cast zinc, aluminium and stainless steel - for example for screws, nuts, washers, springs and turned, stamped and bent parts. The coating combination can vary depending on the base material, while the final RUSPERT® top coat always guarantees consistent protective properties.
